Signing up requests occasional research guides from Mountainhead Research. We send a confirmation email first. Until you confirm, you are not on the newsletter delivery list. Creating a Mountainhead account does not subscribe you.

What we store

We store your email address, signup source, confirmation and unsubscribe dates, and evidence of your signup request. That evidence includes a hashed network address and a limited browser identifier. Subscription records are held in our server-side Supabase database, not exposed through the public API.

How delivery works

Resend processes confirmation and newsletter emails. A confirmed address is added to the Paper Trail delivery segment. Your newsletter address is used for this subscription, not published in articles or given to other readers. Delivery providers may process email engagement and delivery events.

Unsubscribe or request a correction

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You can also use the manage-subscription link in your confirmation email. Unsubscribing stops delivery; we retain a suppression record so a later synchronization cannot silently subscribe you again.

Reading the publication

Production pages use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand visits and usability. The signup email field is masked for Clarity. Embedded X posts and videos contact their external service only when you choose to load them. You can read the verified X excerpt or follow an original-source link without loading the embed.
